Annie Lennox – BBC Special Live from St. Luke’sHi Steve Exclusive outtakes of Annie’s BBC One session at St Luke’s (with a full band and the BBC Concert Orchestra’s string section) are now available on the BBC One sessions site. Annie launches new merchandise range?
We are also delighted to announce that a brand new range of merchandise (designed by Annie) has now launched on the Official Annie Lennox Store.
This exciting new range includes: T-shirts, SING Campaign shopping bag, a beautiful cup and saucer set, lithographs of ‘The Annie Lennox Collection cover art, ‘Shining Light‘ cover art and a collage of Annie’s personal images. The lithographs are limited edition and come individually numbered out of 250 with certificate of authenticity.
The first 100 T-shirts ordered will come in a box signed and dated by Annie!!

The wait is finally over! Annie Lennox will release her fourth solo album, ‘Songs Of Mass Destruction‘, on 1st October. The first single to be taken from the eagerly awaited album will be the wonderful and mesmerising
‘Dark Road‘. On ‘Songs Of Mass Destruction‘, Annie delivers intelligent thought provoking lyrics matched with an adult pop sound. The result, from the haunting introductory song, ‘Dark Road‘ to the closing epic, ‘Fingernail Moon‘, is a sumptuous musical soundscape within which Annie’s voice shines and soars.

In addition to her artistic achievements, Annie is a celebrated activist and humanitarian. The new album features the powerful anthem ‘Sing‘, born out of Annie’s involvement with Nelson Mandela’s 46664 and Treatment Action Campaign (TAC) – organisations fighting for human rights, education and health care for those affected by the HIV AIDS virus. ‘Sing‘ features 23 of the most recognised and successful female solo artists in the world, invited by Annie, to raise awareness and finances for TAC initiatives. Included among the group are TAC activist members own vocal group known as ‘The Generics’, whose CD of music inspired Annie to make ‘Sing‘ a reality.
