This week’s video is in tribute to the late, great Etta James, who sadly passed from this world on January 20th. Dave Stewart and Etta recorded this song for the soundtrack to the 1989 Robert Wise film “Rooftops”. It’s a blistering, blues-rock number which deals with addiction in the Alphabet City section of New York. It pulls no punches and is definitely a gem waiting to be rediscovered.
